LOL, they are "Supposed" to be unique, but I have definitely come across identical MAC Addresses on 2 NIC's before.

This is one of the fundamental problems that every LAN Config Mgmt tool runs into.
There will ALWAYS be a need for manual intervention, but It would really make this product stand out from the crowd if an easy to use interface was designed.
Perhaps present a table of "likely" computer renames that showed which of the following did match:
MAC Address
service tag #
OS GUID
This table could then have a choice to merge records or delete (acknowledge) the row.
