create asset from existing

I'd like to streamline the creating of manual assets.

When I'm on a headset page, I'd like the 'create asset' link to pre-fill as many fields as possible. At least assettype, scanserver, brand, model etc.
Only when creating an asset from the asset menu should all fields be empty.

This way other IT-ers have it easier to fill in all required fields and I don't have to spend time filling in blanks.

Maybe a smarter move would be to add a "copy" option when editing a device. And from there all fields are filled in (including unique fields) and they can be changed.
