Is it possible to display Computer Description from AD insted of reading it from the comptuer?

Is there any way to display the computer description from AD by default? I think this is more efficient way of inputting and managing computer descriptions.

We gave preference to local computer descriptions, because AD descriptions seemed underused.

What you could do though is automatically synch your local descriptions with your AD descriptions. A sample login script can be found here.

Is it possible to add the option to choose where the information come from (for all built-in reports) in future releases?

The computer descriptions you see in the Lansweeper web console are scanned locally and are not derived from AD. AD computer descriptions can be found in tblADComputers however.
