Is the installation of the web services (web console) optional when using Lansweeper Cloud for fully managing assets, or is it mandatory for connecting the scanning server directly to the cloud? I understand that, for advanced installations, the web services need to be installed to link the scanning server to the cloud. Could you clarify how this works for fully utilizing the cloud features?

Hello helpplshelpls,
While the on-premise web console is hidden with a cloud-first installation, it will be installed anyway.
It can be enabled as a fallback if something goes wrong with the link to the cloud site for example.
There is a link in the page you showed, to go to your "cloud site". From there you can create a new site and get your linking code.
If you need further clarification, you can contact our Sales or Support team.
