We have several iMac's and MacBook Airs which are almost never inside the network; is there an equivalent to LSPush for Mac OS?

Lansweeper 7 includes LsAgent which allows the use of a relay to scan remote assets via the internet. It also includes Mac support.

Same here. We have Macs that never come back to the inside network.

Not currently, no. Non-Windows machines can only be scanned through IP Address Range Scanning. To scan Mac computers, you must:
• Enable remote login on them: http://lansweeper.com/kb/33/How-to-scan-Apple-Mac-computers.html
• Create at least one SSH credential, in the Configuration/Scanning Setup/Scanning Credentials section of the Lansweeper web console. Hit the Add New Credential button to create a credential.
• Submit your computers for IP Address Range Scanning, in the Configuration/Scanning Setup/Scanning Methods section of the Lansweeper web console.
• Map the computers’ SSH credentials to their IP ranges, by hitting the green + button next to a range.
