Has anyone worked out a good way to maintain Microsoft software under Licensing?

Specifically, the hell that is Server Hyper-V client licensing.

Server Standard, from 2008R2 on, allows for Qty. 2 free client OS installs.
Server 2008 Enterprise allowed for 4 client installs.

I'm lucky enough to be currently going through a Microsoft SAM audit and would like to use LANSweeper to manage this a little better but I'm having a tough time figuring out the best way to do it.

I guess I can just Add a License for client servers and then put in a Comment concerning the Hyper-V angle.

Anyway, just looking for some feedback on what, if anything, others have done.

I agree. An option to track number of clients per host would be great.

2008R2 Datacenter Edition allows unlimited installations, as well as Hyper-V Server Core.
