Hello there!
I've noticed that there hasn't been much activity surrounding this feature lately. However, I want to emphasize that it continues to be a valuable item on our customer wish list. This is the limited information that I have on this.

the OID is then:
1.3.6.1.4.1.8072.1.3.2.4.1.2.13.100.105.115.112.108.97.121.95.116.121.112.101.115 tree
Tested on ubuntu 16.04
Also is possible to scan by SSH in many ways - for example:
hwinfo --monitor |egrep Mod\|Ser
Is any chance to integrate it?
