Does LAN Sweeper have the ability to receive SNMP Traps and notify via alert?

This is not currently supported. We use SNMP for scanning through IP range scanning. Lansweeper will scan network devices based on the schedule configured under Configuration\Scanning methods, section IP Address Range scanning. More information on how to scan a network device can be found here.

We plan to implement a full active network monitoring module in the future but that still might take a while.

I've moved it on the wishlist since it's still on our customer wishlist.

Any movement on SNMP trap abilities? This was a request over 3 years ago. Good developments in custom OID scanning. Seems that all it is lacking now is SNMP trap reception.
