I am trying to get a report with three sets of software if they are installed or if they are not installed all on the same report. Basically a quick check or installed not-installed.

lots of reports of software, you would need to be more specific. Go to reports tab in LS and search the available reports like Software: All installed software, or Software: Java installed

once you run these you can edit the query then save as a different report.
