The report listed 3 computers with the same SID, now, all 3 computers are in Active Directory and when I check in the Attribute Editor tab in AD, the SID shown are different for all of them.
I checked every single pc and noticed that the SID shown in the report, is actually the SID of the local Administrator account, that is disabled and not in use.
My question is, is the report correct? If yes, can this triple SID for the local Administrator account be somehow an issue?
Thanks

Computers have own SIDs and AD SIDs when are joined to domain.
Report shows local SIDs.
Reasons of duplicate is cloning of os-image.
To change SID you have to use sysprep.
Computers with same SID may have problem with WSUS service, cannot be DCes in one domain. Also may have same permissions to resources.

Hello I'm having a report with several reporting the same sid. I will look to see if its true or like yours above.
Have you resolved? I've got 37 showing.
Thank you.
