I have been looking to use the report "Windows: Installed Windows features" to show me systems that still have PowerShell v2 feature enabled.
This report seems to work for our workstations, but not for servers.
Looking at the installed features on the server:
When I look at the report, it shows that it is installed.
Has anyone else seen this issue? Any workarounds?
Thanks,
Martin

When I check the Windows Powershell 2.0 Engine box on my Server 2019, it throws up a message stating that I cannot install it unless I also enable .NET Framework 3.5 Features.
Since I don't have that enabled, but .NET Framework 4.7 Features (installed by default) is enabled, I suspect that Powershell 2.0 is part of the .NET 4.7 ecosystem. Of course I could be wrong, but that's my guess.

Hi Rader.
Thanks for the response.
I had to leave this for a couple days due to other prod issues (shocker I know).
Today when I look, the report seems to be showing what I expect. Maybe I was too quick running the report after a scan when I was testing this. Not sure, but all good now.
Now to work through removing it from all servers. How fun.
