Hi.

Is there a way we can extract the hidden USB devices (typically failed devices) from the scan information?

We have a batch of HP EliteDesk 800 G2s that seem to have hardware faults on the USB ports, rendering the port disabled. (we've checked with Windows 10 and Linux and the port is unusable in both)

We'd like to scan the network and get the assets that have these failed ports.
Typically they show "Unknown USB Device (Device Descriptor Request Failed)" as the "USB Device".

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

All the best,
Tony

Not entire sure, but you can check the "Port:USB" built-in report. It holds all the port information of USB ports. Aside form that there is specific USB device information that is scanned, but I don't think that will be of use.

The port's status is not scanned unfortunately: https://www.lansweeper.com/forum/yaf_postst16952_Asset-USB-Port.aspx#post56901
