Champion Sweeper
I've used Lansweeper 3.5 for a couple of mounth and then I've upgrade it to 3.5.1 version.
Now the system is divided in 3 servers: a web server, a db server and a service server (where lansweeperservice run).

These servers aren't real servers; they are 3 PC with Windows 2003 server on.

Now I need to put all the system in 3 real servers and I'd like to follow this procedure.

Using 3.5 version:
- open a new istance on a new db server;
- install lansweeperservice on a new service server;
- install web service on new web server;
- run the system (version 3.5)

- upgrade the entire system to 3.5.1;

- import the old db to the new one in order not to loose old data.

What do you think about? Do you think there could be a better procedure?

I suggest:

-Detach the current database from the sql server
-Copy the files to the new sql server and attach the database as "lansweeperdb"
-Create a sql user "lansweeperuser" password "mysecretpassword*-" and make it owner on the lansweeperdb
-Install the website
-Install the service
-Upgrade everything to 3.5.1
