Hi

I'm looking to setup a trial of lansweeper on part of our company network and I'm pretty sure we will be opting for the premium membership after a very short time. We only have 500-600 workstations currently so its a fairly small number to begin with.

The plan is to setup both lansweeper & SQL on the same virtual server - can anyone provide a rough idea of what kind of disk space is used on the database?

We could be expanding the number of workstations in the future & it would be good to know what spec to setup our server with to start with.

Apologies if this is mentioned anywhere already.

Thanks

Dave

Thanks guys .. much appreciated.

I was thinking initially that a 20Gb drive would be sufficient for the vm server thats just running lansweeper with no other services.

The data collected is only text I guess?

Yes, you can also store your users pictures into the website if you want (.jpg files)

I noticed that feature, but I think we will avoid adding our company's rogue gallery to the server

For 1000 computers or less one server is enough.

Hi,

I've just installed it the other day ... so far 24 machines (13 servers / 3 workstations scanned and 8 failed - I think due to VPN filters so I'm waiting till they plugin for real on the network) has used 10Mb in the database. If noone else posts anything I'll give you an updated total tomorrow when everyone has logged in (not had it running on a weekday yet).

Cheers

Ian.
