Duplicate Computers and Duplicate SIDS

Two questions.

Firstly since LS4.1 (I think anyway!) I have noticed when you search for a computer you quite often have duplicate entries - one is the actual netbios name and then one with Dell Inc. after it along with a CPU icon.

Clicking on either takes you to the same main action screen for the computer it's just a bit annoying that there are two entries...see attached screen shot for more details.

Any ideas how to resolve this...?


Second Question...
We have several (about 1200) machines with DUPLICATE SID next to them.
The majority are PCs and they would have been built using an image file - but each PC is SYSPREPPED so no duplicate sid should exist.

Some machines are SERVERS - and the majority of these are built manually.

There are many differnt SIDS showing as duplicate as well - i.e. not all the duplicates are the same SID.

I am trying to understand how this can be.... any ideas...?

First match is the computername, 2e match is the smbiosassettag (which is the same as your computername most likely)
