Firefox won't run actions while on Mac

I can't get the actions to work using Firefox on a Mac running OS X 10.6.3. Asks for plugin, I install, but still won't work. I know I must be installing in wrong location, can someone tell me where the correct location is on a Mac?

Thanks for the quick answer. Wow, seems kind of short sited, what about those using a Mac, our site is about 50/50 PC's and Mac's. I don't expect it to maintain macs, but maybe be able to monitor PC's from my mac. Oh well.

The plugin uses windows specific code, it won't run on Mac or linux.
