I suspect this may well be a wishlist item, but I thought I'd put it in here to begin with in case I'm missing something. I'm seeing a number of our projectors are appearing in Lansweeper with a relation to the computer they're plugged into. However, these are showing up as monitors rather than projectors. I'm aware that I can edit these assets to change the type manually, however I was hoping to find a way of doing this automatically so I don't have to remember to keep going in and changing these when they're discovered.
I've used the SNMP OID to map assets to a type before and this has proved really useful, but I was hoping to find a way to do the same thing based upon model and manufacturer rather than SNMP which isn't how these devices have been detected.
