Hi,

Where/how do we know the version of existing installation of LanSweeper..?

My company wants to install the premium version of LanSweeper over existing installation (freeware). Should we download the newest version?

When you use the premium version you can enable "active scanning", this doesn't require lsclient.exe

We finally decided to make clean installation using version 3.5.2 (LanSweeper Premium). One thing that confuse me is that, it is said that LanSweeper Premium doesn't require lsclient to scan computers, instead it uses active directory to scan computers. Does it mean we don't need to put login script either per user base or through GPO?

You can see the version number by right clicking on "lansweeperservice.exe" / properties.

You don't need a new install to upgrade to the premium version.
