New to lansweeper, RPC issues

Running XP with lansweeper and SQL 2k5 express. I cannot get a remote computer to be scanned, is there some dumb trick in making this happen. I like the product so far and want ot go Premium if I can get the free version to run.

Do you see any error in the errorlog.txt or in the web interface for these computers?

The wmi connects through the test connection fine, the 2000 professional pc shows in lansweeper but it will not scan even if I initiate a scan. Each time I reboot the 2000p box, the management console updates with a new last scan time which is the rpc connection. No matter the settings the 2000 professional box will not scan, I have added 2 2000 servers and they have both connected and scanned just fine.

What exactly do mean mean by "the rpc connects but the scan doesn't take place."
Do you get any specific errors?

I was able to get the XP and vista machines to connect up and scan. With windows 2000 though, the rpc connects but the scan doesn't take place. I have made the identical setting changes on the 2000 platform that I did for xp and vista but the scan will not work. Any ideas on how to make it happen?

I can connect to the xp laptop and it gets some info but the rpc remote call is still a no go. I have also tested the remote test connection and everything tests just fine. Anyone with a little knowlegde on this, please can you help.
