Got lansweeper installed yesterday, got the VBS script in our GP, when people login it IS adding them, however they are staying in the "never scanned" section. I try to "trigger" scan, but it still won't. Our Windows firewall is off (had that problem in my test domain LOL). I went into the console and changed the trigger scan action from "myserver" to "the actual name of our server", still nothing.

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks ALOT for everything you did, that was awesome!

I have put it on a different server and it's working great now.

Thanks again!

There is a program called crossloop, that's free and you dont have to configre firewalls.

I'll download and install it if you do the same. Then I can request assistance and it will give me a number that you enter in to get to me.

My number is:

Is there a way to help you with remote control or something?
I'm interested to find out what's causing this.

Try this :

1) Disable the local guest account

2) set registry key :
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\LSA\ForceGuest = 0

My last hope

No we are using the free version for now, might purchase later if all works well. I have the VBS script which was in the documentation running at log in.

The Windows firewall is turned off by GP.

No other software firewall, just Symantec corp for AV.

Most PCs should have SP3 or AT LEAST SP2.
