The "Installing the server" section is confusing to me. I have no idea what I'm supposed to do with these config files, where they are supposed to be placed, what editing I need to do to them, etc. Can anyone shed some light on this process?
You can put the config files anywhere you feel like. I myself ran the Lansweeper console in IIS 6.0 with the Lansweeper website pointing to where I saved the config files so the website console for Lansweeper would look in the folder where I had the Lansweeper files. Regarding editing the files, you may or may not need to edit them. It depends on how you setup which user can access the Lansweeper database in SQL (in Databases | Security you can add the user).
