We have a new contract that requires that we regularly scan for 'rogue' wireless access points and privide a report. Can LanSweeper help with that? Detals how appreciated.

There are no specific features for this. Lansweeper will only add a device to the database if one or more of the following protocols are enabled and if (for SNMP or SSH) valid scanning credentials are provided: FTP, HTTP, HTTPS, JetDirect, SIP, SMTP, SNMP (SNMPv1 or SNMPv2), SSH or Telnet.
If only SNMP is enabled on a device and you don't provide a valid SNMP community string for scanning, that device will not be detected for instance, as Lansweeper won't be able to identify or pull any data from the device.
