Server Error in '/lansweeper32' Application. (Configuration Error)

I did a search for the topic I am asking about with no results so I am posting it here.

I have installed the SQL Express and have IIS installed on the server. I installed Lansweeper. My problem is when I attempt to connect to the Web Console. I get the following error:

Configuration Error
Description: An error occurred during the processing of a configuration file required to service this request. Please review the specific error details below and modify your configuration file appropriately.

Parser Error Message: An error occurred loading a configuration file: Failed to start monitoring changes to 'c:\inetpub\wwwroot\web.config' because access is denied.

I am hoping someone could lend me a litle help. It's probably something stupid I'm not doing or have done correctly. Please help.

@crc_charles Was your application working before you upgraded to the premium version?

Do you have a folder c:\inetpub\wwwroot\?

If so, please try to change the ntfs permissions and give "everyone" full control on the folder and subfolders.

I uninstalled and reinstalled IIS. Then I completely reinstalled lansweeper with no luck. I get the same error. I was really hoping for some assistance from the lansweeper team by now since i did shell out the $$$ for the premium thing. no easy task to get approved by the powers that be at my company in these economic times. i sold them on the fact that it would save time, yet here i am a week later without it working...not much of a time saver. im wondering if i should ask for a refund.

Found the solution in another topic. Uninstalled/reinstalled IIS then reinstalled just the website component of Lansweeper and life is grand!!

I'm having a similar issue on Server 2003 with SQL 2000 installed

The system itself appears to be working as the GUIConsole brings up info on all computers scanned so far but the web console is simply nonfunctioning and I can't seem to find any relevant information at all in the documentation.
