Engaged Sweeper III
I just noticed while looking at a report that shows workstations without anti-virus, that my Windows7 64bit machines are showing up on the list. However, they do have anti-virus software installed.

Is Lansweeper populating tblSoftware.ComputerName with the software that is created in the Program Files(x86) folder on 64bit systems? Our version of Symantec appears in that folder and not the typical Program Files folder as in a 32bit system. So the software report seems to be inaccurate along with any report that draws from tblSofware such as the workstations without anti-virus report.

Thank you!

Lansweeper scans the same software information that can be found under Add/Remove Programs (or Programs & Features, depending on the operating system) on the client machine.

If a machine is included in the "no anti-virus software" report when it shouldn't be, likely explanations are:
- The anti-virus software package is not listed under Add/Remove Programs and is therefore not scanned by default.
- The anti-virus software package is listed under Add/Remove Programs, but the computer's software information has not recently been rescanned. Perform a Full Rescan to rescan the entire machine.
- The anti-virus software package is listed under Add/Remove Programs and has successfully been scanned by Lansweeper, but it is not known to be anti-virus software. Anti-virus software is identified based on the list found in the Lansweeper configuration console under Configuration\Anti-Virus Software. If your software package is not listed there, you can manually add it.
