Since we use different SSH credentials, I added them under "other credentialks" and mapped them under "unique IP credentials" to both FalconStor nodes.

However, I get this error Message while scanning:

Cannot connect to SSH server. 24/01/2013 09:25:46
SSH Error Could not connect to SSH with credentials FalconStor (root), Global (root) 24/01/2013 09:25:46

Could you contact us at support@lansweeper.com and provide us with a link to this forum thread. We'll try to reproduce this behavior.

As a matter of fact I´ve done that a couple of times as I thought I´m to dumb to enter a 9 digit password, but I also verified the entry with the "show password" marked.

Could you try (just to make sure it is absolutely correct) resubmitting the FalconStore login/password in the web console under Configuration/Scanning Setup/Scanning Credentials, by hitting the pencil shaped edit button next to the credential. Rescan the problem machine afterwards.

1. "FalconStor" is the name of the "Other credential" item in which the ssh-credentials are saved (root & password)

2. I did perform the DEVICETESTER under the Lansweeper server. I just also performed the "Test Connection", with the following result:

Pinging 129.103.3.107
Ping ok.

Scanning TCP ports..
135 closed (EPMAP)
139 closed (NetBIOS Session Service)
445 closed (SMB)

Checking DNS..
DNS resolved to: 129.103.3.107
If this is not correct, please check for DNS problems.

Scanning netbios (UDP)..
Could not scan netbios

Scanning WMI..

- Is FalconStor the credential used in your successful connection test?
- Did you perform your connection test on your Lansweeper server as required?
- Which Lansweeper version are you using?
