Hi,

Everytime I try trigger scan, it just comes up with "Failed".

No other errors.

The syntax is all correct.

LSClient is running from a group policy script.

Any ideas?

Looks like that was it.
I tried lstrigger with port 23 and it worked from my workstation.

Thanks for the help!

Update*

It works when I run it on the server LS is installed on.

Is this a permission issue?

If so, how can I run lstrigger from my work station with logging in with my domain admin creds?

Thanks

It's not a permission issue.
Can you telnet to the lansweeper server from your workstation to port 9524?

Failed means that you can't connect to the server on the service port.

Hi There,

I still can't figure out why lstrigger won't work.
Any machine I try to trigger a scan on fails.
When I enter do it from the command line it just says "Failed"

Any ideas?

Thanks

Yes, the computer is in LS.

Is the computer already present in the database.
Lstrigger only works for computers already in the database

lsclient.exe RDNWSTORC02 9524

lstrigger.exe RDNWSTORC02 [computer name] RIDENOW 9524

RDNWSTORC02 is the server name
RIDENOW is the domain name.

Could you give your syntax of lstrigger and the syntax of lsclient that's working?
