Hi,

I was checking the screen "Active directory user OU overview", and I found that lansweeper is showing several users that are not anymore there.

So, I think that lansweeper is not updating the changes I do on AD (at least, the user's movements between OU's), and I don't know why.

Thank you for your help.

I also have a question about users in LS from AD.

I have 84 users in the main users OU in LS, but the OU in AD shows 99. I thought that maybe only users that log into computers were imported into LS, but there are a couple that have "zero items found" under "Computers logged onto" on the LS user details page.

Is there a way to get the remaining 15 users in AD to import into LS?

Thanks,

Lansweeper only pulls information of users that are found to be logged onto a computer during a scan. The fact that you see a user without any logon records may be due to the fact that the computer he logged onto has since been removed from AD.

Are there any plans to change this to include all users in selected OUs, regardless of whether or not they've been seen to log into a computer? I use "user actions" to reset passwords, check password expirations, etc. Some of our users are remote and so they wouldn't be seen by LS. Of course I can go directly to AD, but it's very convenient to use LS for this.

Thanks,

We may include this as an optional feature in one of our future updates.

Cleanup actions are performed when the Lansweeper service is started and subsequently every 24 hours.
If you wish to see the changes immediately, try restarting your service.

Thank you.

But when it's gonna happens that "refresh"? At the next programmed scan?

Lansweeper does not delete any scanned information unless instructed to do so.
Please have a look at your configuration console under Scanning Servers/Your Server/Options.

You can enable one or both of these options:
Remove active directory users not found in active directory.
Remove active directory users disabled in active directory.
