When using Lansweeper free version -
If we have users who are part of the domain but connecting through different networks - can they be scanned.
These are laptops at various location and connected via the internet.
I also want to clarify (still a little unclear on this):
We do have some users who connect to our system but are not on the domain
Is it possible to scan their laptops (the would be non-domain/workgroup).
Appreciate the help.
Thanks
Paul

If your server can connect to them on this IP with full access you should get it to work.

No. They don't usually get a VPN connection or the like - they communicate with our system but don't connect to it. If that makes sense.
I guess the best way of clarifying that is that they will have a different IP address even though there is some communications with our server.
Thanks

This works using the premium version/alternate credentials, see : http://www.lansweeper.com/kb/workgroup.aspx
