Hi,

Sorry if this is a stupid question but, I have software installed on my PC which does not appear on Add/Remove Programs, but does have an executable file running. I have set Lansweeper to scan for this file and the wait time for Files in scan options is set to 0 (I have also tried setting it to 1). I have run Lstrigger.exe on my PC and my "Last seen" time has updated, but I can't see the information about the scanned file anywhere.

Where would this information appear? Is there a report that I have to enable - I can't find one!

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you on this query. I have finally managed to upgrade to 3.5.2 - like it - particularly the use alternate credentials to scan other domains - that solved a major headache on our site!

I can now see the result of the scanned files option but I need to output a report that shows how many computers it is running on. I have had a look at report builder and succeeded in generating a different report but I can't find anything on scanned files

Again any help would be appreciated.

In the upgrade package there was also the file "lsmanage.exe" (the configuration tool) that you need to replace.

Hi,

Sorry I appear to have deviated from the original topic - please let me know if I should open a different thread.

Yesterday I upgraded to Lansweeper 3.5.2 downloaded from the Lansweeper site I chose the option upgrade from versions below 3.5.1 to 3.52. I followed all the steps and when I launched Lansweeper, Active Scanning was disabled as I had installed the freeware version. Thinking that I had a problem with my licence I contacted Lansweeper and got the licence code, inputted it on the lansweeper site, and it brought me to the same download page with the same options. So this morning I downloaded the updated premium tools. Reading through the Premium Documentation.pdf - Step 1 is How to activate the premium service. The screenshot shown look to me like the GUI console - when I launch GUI console I don't have the option to enter my registration code.

Have I lost the plot altogether? Have I totally messed this up?

Thanks for offer which if I ever get upgraded I will take you up on! My more immediate problem is that I am on 3.2 (not 3.5) as I thought. When I went to download the upgrade to 3.5.2 I was asked for my licence key - I input it and it was invalid. I went to the download page an downloaded the upgrade to ver 3.5.2 and have just completed the upgrade but find that I have upgraded to the FREEWARE version!!!!!!

I purchased premium version earlier this year - the email with my licence key is dated 10/03/09. Checking back on emails I see that there is an email 03/09/09 saying that my Premium User Continuous Subscription has been cancelled, but this coincided with other emails saying that there were mistakes made with regnow process. Is this why? How do I fix this - who do I contact?

Thanks for that - I'm on 3.5 so I'll upgrade. Pity about the custom report - I have no skills in that area!

When you have upgraded post the details about the report in the reports section and I'll get you started.
