WMI Error and Repairwmi

Hello All,

http://www.lansweeper.com/repairwmi.zip is not working.
If somebody have, can you please share.

Iam facing The RPC server is unavailable. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x800706BA) error
for some of my machines.

I have tried disabling firewall in the windows xp machine locally.
For these machines, when i use connection tester, it fails and gives the following error.

Remote WMI test

The RPC server is unavailable. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x800706BA)

Remote Registry test using WMI
-----------------------------------------------
\root\default Remote WMI access test FAILED
The RPC server is unavailable. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x800706BA)

Can somebody Help

Hi,

The RPC server unavailable is cause by a firewall (windows XP firewall) blocking the traffic.
