I have many assets discovered with IP Range Scans that I can't authenticate to and/or may not have the correct mapped credentials.  All of these assets are ID's as Linux since port 22 is open and the asset name is set to the IP.  In many cases, I can resolve the IP to a DNS record.  Is there a way to automate or manually run a script to run an nslookup and update the asset name to match DNS?

Are you saying that if there is a DNS record for an asset that is discovered, it should be added as the asset name? Or if it can't authenticate, it should still use the DNS record?

Hello there!

No, I was just suggesting to contact technical support so they can look into any workarounds (if available) to report these assets more accurately. If no workaround can be found, they can log a feature request for you.
