I'm a new user.

Some assets discovered using an IP range are listed by IP.  The IP is in DNS, so why isn't the name of the asset updated to reflect DNS name?  Is there a why to force a discovery to check for a DNS name?

Did you have ptr-records in reverse zone? 

You can check resolving via nslookup

Yes.  I  can run an nslookup against the IP of the asset it returns a hostname
