We are trying to unify some of our processes and reduce the number of programs we have to access to do our jobs.
One of those tasks is moving our entire IT asset inventory to Lansweeper from WASP. Many of these assets (phones, scanners, etc) are not discoverable by Lansweeper so we are adding them manually.
With WASP we had the ability to rectify our inventory. We could select a location and scan the barcodes of everything to audit that everything that was supposed to be in a certain location was in that location.
Is there any kind of reconciliation mechanic in Lansweeper that we can use like that? I know there is a "barcode" field in Lansweeper now, just not sure if there is a way to use a barcode scanner to go through and reconcile our inventory with Lansweeper.
