Hello,

The Canon iR-ADV 6255, is showing the wrong black toner levels. We have changed the toner, and the web interface says it is OK. The lansweeper panel shows 0%.

Asset Type: Printer
Manufacturer: CANON Inc.
Model: Canon iR-ADV 6255 22.01
OID: 1.3.6.1.4.1.1602.4.7
Description: Canon iR-ADV 6255 /P

OK - got it going...

First assumption is that you have valid SNMPv3 credentials.

Second assumption is that you can log in as Admin:
- Make sure the SSL certificates are valid.
- In the License Area (lower-left) enable the Remote UI SSL. Restart the unit.

- Under the Settings / Network settings / SNMP

-- take the tick out of SNMPv1
-- tick ON the SNMPv3, and select User
--- enter the proper SNMPv3 user credentials, click OK to save.

- Restart the unit, and wait about two minutes.

- Re-poll from LanSweeper.

Profit! And, now you can tick off another problem child from the lists.

Enjoy...

So... no fix for this yet? It is a tad frustrating to see (we have 2) one of them working fine with the toner, and the other always showing '0' - and OK on the GUI.

Tried resetting the SNMP, deleting the asset, setting the v3, etc. - nothing.

Seeing the changelog back for v.5113 there was some work put in on it - maybe not fully checked?!?

Just curious.

I have the same issue as well with my iR-Adv 400.
LS was showing low toner on 1 device on the dashboard alerts/reports Monday.

The LS asset/device page shows 5% remaining.
But when I login to GUI webpage for the printer shows the toner is full.

Guess LS cant fully communicate with all devices via snmp.

*note* I had an auto-report setup to email me, low toner reports every Monday.
It worked, got the email, I forwarded to the office manager as an FYI to make sure they had a replacement on hand.

Of course they replied back, they the toner is full. lol.
