Engaged Sweeper
I am trying to figure out what's supposed to happen with computers which have multiple IPs assigned. Like in the case of servers. Will each IP return this asset when a search is made?

For IP addresses, only tblAssets is searched in the top searchbar, so only the "main" IP of an asset will be searchable in the search bar.

The "main" IP of an asset is the last IP through which it was successfully scanned. The interface through which Lansweeper scans an asset with multiple interfaces is the interface that is first in the binding order.

To search through all IP addresses for your Windows assets you could create a report using tblNetwork.IPAddress, which stores all IP addresses of your Windows assets. For other network types other tables store this information. tblLinuxNetwork for Linux devices, tblMacNetwork for Mac, tblSNMPinfo for network devices scanned through SNMP.

There is a feature on our wishlist to make more tables searchable for IP addresses using the search bar at the top, though we don't have an estimated release date for this feature yet. We've added your feedback to our wishlist.
