How do you go about changing the default domain Lansweeper uses to check for Active Directory authentication?
Example below. We want to replace our current domain with a new one on this screen. To be clear we have AD auth already working, just need to change the domain. I used the Lansweeper pic from the website so I would not have to publish the actual domain names on the web.

We will be moving all of our users to a new domain and when Lansweeper to look to the new domain as default so users won't have to specify a domain at login.
Thoughts?

ok... well, I don't know how to get it to pick the preferred domain on the login page, if you have multiple..
but - I just enable passthrough authentication, add appropriate group policy or trusted site if necessary, and have it just log people on automatically, regardless of domain, as long as LS has the AD Users being scanned for that domain. I've never had that issue come up with the login page doing it this way...
Not sure if that helps

Is that server on the new domain or the old domain.
I am only guessing but I would assume it goes based on the domain the server is joined to.

That is my suspicion as well. The server is on the "old" domain. All user accounts are going to be moved to the new domain first. Then at some point servers will move afterwards.

tcilmo,
Under the configuration menu go to Website Settings. There you will want to change the authentication to use integrated Windows Authentication.
If your using IIS Express here is the KB for enabling it. https://www.lansweeper.com/knowledgebase/how-to-enable-authentication-for-iis-express/

Thanks, but that did not provide any answers to my question about how to change the default domain that is listed on the login in page.
I have domain auth already working - just need to change default domain to another one all of our users will be moved to a new domain.
