I have seen this message before when installing framework 4.0 when the C: drive was almost full.

Hmmm. I'm pushing out MS Visual C++ 2010. I'll see if my version is older than some that might already have it installed.

Hi,

The error code '5100' has the message 'Asia'. What it's for, i don't know...

What i do know that it is a common error code when you are installing something and the windows imaging component (WIC) is missing or when trying to instal an older .net version (or Visual C++ Redistributable for that matter etc.) on a computer with a newer version installed.
