Duplicate assets: Hyper-V & Windows

We have three assets that are duplicated on each scan.

Our scanning targets are 'AD: Server OU' and the IP-range of the servers 192.168.100.0/24
IP Range 192.168.100.1 192.168.100.254
Scan New Windows Only

We get as result this:

Hyper-V guest Windows
Virtual Machine  Virtual Machine 
Microsoft Corporation  Microsoft Corporation 
00:15:5D:62:BA:0C 00:15:5D:02:9D:05 (confirmed in Hyper-V VM settings & ipconfig /all of VM)


Any idea how to combat this?

Hi,

It would be better to send an email to support@Lansweeper.com adding screenshots of the duplicate assets. It could be a specific case that requires some troubleshooting.
