Error while trying to get SQL instance name.

When attempting to upgrade from 10.6.2.0 to 11.1.0.11 I am receiving the following error.

Error while trying to get SQL instance name.

Reason xp_regread returned error 5 Access is denied

Anyone else have this problem?
