I installed 7.1.40.6 yesterday. I was trying to get Exchange scanning operational. It wasn't working and I following the help article to enable Exchange debugging. I opened ticket with support and traded some screenshots with them.

They determined it was a bug, so I thought I would share and hopefully save someone some time.

The error was:

ScriptFailed - ReceivedSuccessCode: Script 1 returned failure. The results will be ignored. Error message = 'The type initializer for 'Microsoft.Exchange.Configuration.Tasks.TaskLogger' threw an exception.'. No valid credentials found.

I assumed the error was permissions based, but I verified the scanning account and the permissions were good.

Hopefully, there is a fix coming out soon. Exchange scanning was the reason I upgraded. 🙂

If anyone else has the same issue, I would recommend sending support the info. It always helps to have more info.
