When viewing user details the Active Directory Groups Section has disappeared from our live version, it was there on first install.

It is also still available in the trial / test install.

Does anyone know how to get this back.

Thanks in advance.

Ok, thanks for clarification. Possibly AD groups haven't successfully been scanned. Active Directory groups need to be scanned separately.
  • Under Configuration\Scanning methods, section Domain User Scanning, submit the ADSI path of the OU under which your AD groups can be found in Active Directory.
  • Initiate a scan of that OU.
  • After the scan finished, test again opening a user page.
Details on Domain User scanning can be found here.

If that didn't resolve the issue, could you send a mail with a link to this forum topics and some screenshots to support@lansweeper.com.

This is where you select one of your assets click on the last user.

Or select a user from last seen users in the dashboard.

Below Computers logged onto there used to be Active directory title and below this a list of AD groups the person belonged to.

If you are referring to your Dashboard, you can add widgets to it by opening your Dashboard and hitting Add widgets. Drag and drop the widget you require to your Dashboard. Some widgets can be configured afterwards. After finishing the configuration, hit Save settings.
