Hostname scanning exclusion of any asset type

How can I add a scan exclusion base o asset hostname independent of the asset type?

Example: Add vwaepazxfw% as hostname exclusion independent of the LS asset type identification

Under the scanning menu go to scanning targets and click on the scanning server. Look under scanning targets and you will see the scanning exclusions section. Click add exclusion. In the exclusion type select choose windows computer, select a reason, then type in the computer name that you want excluded.

But that is only valid for windows assets, if is a linux or a network devices will not work
