Is there anyway to link tickets? Static or dynamic link, or even just parent/child tickets?

It's working...
Just name the Ticket-ID with a # ahead and Lansweeper is generating (during saving this comment) a link to this ticket.

e.g. Ticket-ID is 4711
Just write: #4711
Lansweeper will generate a link behind "#4711" to "http://<servername>/helpdesk/Ticket.aspx?tid=4711"

Just found this topic! We currently work with version 7.1.118.10.
I checked to find this functionality of related tickets / parent tickets in the configuration page, but cannot find it there. Is this functionality already available or in dev for future release?

Thanks in advance!

like :
http://<servername>/helpdesk/Ticket.aspx?tid=27946

We are doing this. We are also using a text field with ; delimiter and ticket numbers, so that we can report on relations. This isn't very well thought out and we will improve on this, but it works for now.

Okay, so no linking yet. Is it possible to put a direct hyperlink to a ticket inside another ticket?

I am looking forward to this feature. Simply merging loses value of tracking different but related issues.

This feature (parent/child/simple ticket relations) is currently not available, but will be added in a later version (6.1), which is still a long way off.

For now you could make use of a custom field or add the number to a note. Not as good as a link, but you can copy the ID and use it with the 'Go to ticket' action from the helpdesk menu (Ctrl + click or middle mouse click on this link to open in a new tab).

We'll be adding a new feature in one of our major upcoming versions (probably 6.0.110, which will be a few more months at least) which will automagically convert ticket IDs in notes (format: #123) to a link.
