I have put pictures in the folder for some of our staff. One user will not take (all the rest will), the file is named his username. I even copy and pasted the username to ensure it's right.

So sorry! The picture took the next day, all the other pictures showed up within like 5 minutes.

Just as a test, could you try to upload the picture from within the console as Karel suggested and see if that works or generates an error.
  • Perform a search for the username in the web console search bar.
  • Open the user's Lansweeper webpage.
  • Hit the Edit User button on the left.
  • Hit Upload Image, select your image and hit Ok.
  • Hit Save User when done.

If the issue persists, please contact support@lansweeper.com and provide:
  • Program Files (x86)\Lansweeper\Service\Errorlog.txt, as present on your Lansweeper server.
  • If it exists, the error log present in Program Files (x86)\Lansweeper\Website\App_Data.
  • Screenshot of problem user's Lansweeper webpage.
  • Screenshot of the contents of Program Files (x86)\Lansweeper\Website\userpictures\<domain of problem user> on your Lansweeper server.

The picture is in the same location as the other pictures that work. They are all JPG.

Have you tried going to the user's page on the Lansweeper website and altering the picture there? There might be a problem with the file (or its location/name) which might be fixed by simply uploading it.

Also keep in mind that user pictures need to have the extension '.jpg', which is automagically adjusted by the upload process.
