Operating System not scanned after inplace Upgrade

Hello,

we are currently rolling out the inplace upgrade from Win 10 to 11. but after the OS is sucsessfully installed, the Asset does not update to reflect the operating system version changes. it remains as an Win 10 Asset.

What could be done to ensure that the Operating system gets correctly reported?

Hi,

The operating system class is scanned by default every 3 days. You can see this setting under Scanning/Scanned Item Interval "OS".  If you click the rescan button on the asset summary page located in the left menu this will scan all items and override the scanned item interval settings.
