Printer Toner Inventory with restricted page access

Hi

By creating a toner type, setting the "Never delete by cleanup options" and set two custom fields ("barcode", "stock count") we could create relations with the printer and have an printer toners inventory. This is handy when we need to buy toners.

Our problem now is someone else is the printer stock manager. Is it possible to restrict the access to a certain asset type? Or is there another solution for this task?

You cannot configure Lansweeper to only give user access to a specific asset type.

What you can do is make a report with toner information and then configure email alerts so that it will send the report triggered by a schedule. You can read how to do this on page 145 of our documentation.
