Hi Lansweeper community,
I'm trying to find a good way to automatically add location data (building and room number) to all of our assets based on which switch port they are plugged into. Currently I'm thinking that the best option is an Update Query with an unfortunately large Case statement. The problem I'm running into there is that I don't actually know how I would run an Update Query in Lansweeper. I saw some mentions of "database scripts" while searching the forums, but am rather unclear on where those actually are.
Could someone point me in the right direction of how to run Update Queries (or if you have a better idea for adding location data to our assets, I'm all ears).
