Does anyone use Lansweeper to meet their SOC2 compliance requirements? I have not found any information on this and everyone has a different opinion on what to use to meet requirements. I have used Lansweeper and two previous jobs. Now I am in charge to bring in new software for our company to meet requirements. In my opinion Lansweeper does a fantastic job for the price and by no means do we have the money to bring in the more expensive options like Heat, ServiceNow, Zendesk, LanDesk, etc.
The one thing I would request with Lansweeper is some sort of built in change management, but I can work around that for now.
So, in the end, anyone out there using this product in their SOC2 compliant business?

We certainly use it for various controls as part of our SOC2 TYpe II annual audit. The audit is more about processes and controls and does not state what software you use to meet those controls. Lansweeper helps us control and monitor software installation and provides valuable reports on encryption and antivirus installations (although sometimes not very accurate).
