how do you want to call out those specific systems? Meaning what is common among them where you can link them and exclude other systems? Are they all of your clients? all of your servers? belong to a specific group etc?
if there is nothing that marks them common, then perhaps you can add to a custom field a tag like "critical system" or something? once you have something common among them and unique enough you can likely use a where clause or some join to gather the data on just those 40 systems.
