Hello,
I have a Switch (HP ProCurve 2920) which is shown in the lansweeper like a VoIP Phone.
The asset will scanned via SSH but I need a SNMPv3 scan.
The Errormessage is: Errors found while scanning:
Could not connect to SSH with credentials Global (root)
But I've entered the correct SMNPv3 settings in the scanning credentials and linked them on the IP range. But they will not taken. SNMPv3 is correct configured on the switch.
Can you tell me how to force a SNMPv3 Scan on this asset?
Best regards
Julien

Check the credentials order in Scanning->Credentials, and make sure SNMPv3 is on first (meaning upper on the list than SSH) for that IP/Range.

Hi Jln_S-
Were you able to resolve this issue? I have a similar condition, where LS had discovered my Cisco Switch 9K with the following error:
Errors found while scanning: Could not connect to SSH with credentials NetVault (administrator), Global (root)
The Cisco 9K is configured with SNMPv3 and is being monitored by SolarWinds, but am not able to use LAN Sweeper to work.
Any suggestions?
Best,
Ernie
